OpenTable Fields

Name
Guest Note	One Note field per Restaurant for each of the following categories (General, Special, Food and Drink, Seating)
Guest Tag	There are different icons for different tag types
Visit Note	Notes tied to a specific Visit
Visit Tag	Tags tied to a specific Visit

Loyalist syncs from Opentable:

Every 10 Minutes for same day reservations
Every 24 hours for reservations 30 days out
For Guest Notes
- Loyalist pulls from the reservation platform every time a guest profile is clicked
- If you edit a note, it will edit it in Opentable immediately
For Guest Tags
- Loyalist refreshes tags when a guest has a visit (checks 24 hours before and 24 hours after)
- If an update to tags is made and a guest does not have a visit, you can manually refresh a guest profile from the reservation platform with the Edit Tags button in Loyalist
  - It is recommended that if a user wants to change a guest tag and the guest does not have an upcoming or current visit in the reservation platform, they do so in Loyalist
  - This is a limitation since Resy/OT/7R does not have webhooks so Loyalist does not know when data is updated if it’s outside of our scheduled cadence

Other Profile Data Sources:

Reviews only link to guests from Resy
- OT made an update so this should be matched in the future (Q2 2025)
Reviews on Google / Yelp are public and there is no way to verify that the guest came in so it does not link

If a guest switches from one reservation system to another:

The Loyalist team needs to know what date the restaurant stops using one platform and starts on the other
- Our team basically switches to pull from the new system (but we don’t do a backfill on the new system and keep the data from the old reservation system data in tact)
- The one downside is that the tags won’t update until the guest comes in OR if they hit the manual refresh
- If you make a switch from Resy —> Opentable, we will keep your guest “Status” in tact unless you edit it in Loyalist
- The notes will automatically update, but this is sometimes not ideal because Resy/OT transfer the notes over poorly…
