What are automations in Loyalist?

Automations are built on the foundation of thoughtful Tags and Segments. You can create an email or SMS based automation to help you fill seats and directly connect with your guests. Automations can be set up once and run behind the scenes — saving your front of house team time from manual work!

Automations can be set up for the guest to receive the email or SMS before or after they dine.

For example, you could email all regular guests (guests who have been at your restaurants more than 5 times in the last year) with an upcoming event.

Prerequisites

• You have created a tag or segment**.** Instructions here!
• You have connected an email in Settings → Email.
  • You need to be a Loyalist admin to connect your email.
